Meet your doctor
Rank O. Dawson, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.S., received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and completed his internship in General Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. Further education included a General Surgery residency and a Chief Resident year at the Allentown Affiliated Hospitals in Allentown,Pennsylvania. A Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency including a chief resident year followed in the Kettering Medical Center/Wright State University program in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Dawson has also completed a 12-month Christine M. Kleinert Institute Fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Inc. Dr. Dawson is also an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
